International Design & Development

Course Description 

The purpose of The Summer School program in International Design & Development is to give students training and skills in the process of product design and development, by means of lectures, exercises and group projects.

The aim is to work in the framework of specifications, concept development and, to a certain extent, final detailing, depending on the students skills, in order to create a case that is as close as possible to a real situation in the design-oriented industry.

In addition to the theoretical part and the project work, the program involves company visits and real-life cases so that the students will be acquainted with design processes.

Recommended Prerequisites

Basic skills in 3D CAD (SolidWorks®, Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0).
