Progressive education
The courses at Copenhagen University College of Engineering have an international outlook. Cooperating with the business and industrial world as well as with over 100 universities abroad, Copenhagen University College of Engineering educates internationally orientated engineers who are highly regarded by companies.
Our educational methods and tools are chosen in order to support an embracing and visionary study environment. The courses consist of a combination of team-oriented instruction, project work in groups, traditional classes, excursions and experiments in scientific laboratories.
Teaching method
The teaching method is project-organized with an interdisciplinary attitude, and all courses have a unique six-month traineeship in a Danish or foreign company. During the traineeship, the student takes part in the company’s development projects or develops his or her own project within the framework from the company.
This approach creates a progressive curriculum with equal
parts theory and practice. The programmes are kept up to date
through continued dialogue with industry. There is an exchange of
experience, and the response of the companies is integrated in the
programmes.
The exact qualifications of our engineers are decisive for
constructive social development. At the same time, they are so
scientifically founded that they are able to critically navigate
the technological universe.
